B-Buff
All muscle and no-talent, B-Buff is J-Zel's lead goon. He got his start appearing as an ironically cool back-up dancer in J-Zel's videos before bumping out his competition to become J-Zel's sidekick. Shallow and dimwitted, B-Buff is always there to stop anyone from getting in the way of J-Zel's self-indulgent performances. While he can't sing well at all, he can really move and his startling agility and flexibility while breakdancing adds some credibility to J-Zel's videos. |

Biggest Fan
Every band has its fans, but there can be only one "Biggest Fan." No one really knows her name, but she owns every Coz/Effect album and every piece of Coz/Effect merchandise that has ever been released. It's even rumored that she managed to find a pair of Coz's underwear on an online auction site. While she means well, Coz, Blitz and Skyler live in constant fear of being squashed by her - we really mean it when we say she is their "biggest" fan. |

Blitz
Once part of J-Zel’s troupe, Blitz was given the boot after trying to steal some of J-Zel’s golden spotlight. He is the group's reluctant bass guitar player and vocalist. He is incredibly hard-headed, at times more so than Coz. He joined Coz/Effect to get back at J-Zel and Zero Records. Coz and Blitz have butt heads from their very first meeting – and their badly-hidden crushes for Zee only make matters worse. |

Boomboxer Records
Boomboxer is known worldwide for its talented musicians and phenominal music. Thanks to Zee's quick thinking, she managed to sneak Coz, Blitz and Skyler into a closed audition at Boomboxer Records to win their well-earned record contract despite J-Zel's attempts to keep them down.
Boomboxer is Zero Records' biggest enemy - they stand for everything Team Zero is against - real talent, great songs and amazing concerts. |

As the adorable and undeniably cool hostess of Extra Cheeze Pop Television Network, she is the first to broadcast world premiere hit videos and interrupt regularly scheduled music programming with breaking music industry news. |

Bruno and his twin brother, Uno, are J-Zel's weasly agent Malcolm's muscle-headed security detail. It's thanks to them that puny Mal isn't pummeled by the muscians he's helped ruin. Bruno wears a muscle shirt with the number "0" on it. |

Catball
If Coz could name his biggest nightmare, it wouldn't be J-Zel - it would actually be his annoying fanboy, Catball. Catball adores and idolizes Coz - he wants nothing more than to be as cool as his rolemodel. Unfortunately, thanks to his interferance, he usually causes Coz/Effect lots of trouble when they're busy battling the likes of Team Zero. |

Cloudnine City
Palm-tree studded Cloudnine City is a coastal megalopolis and the center of the world's music and entertainment industry. Coz and Skyler moved here to get their start in the music business, only to discover the ridiculous lengths jerks like J-Zel will go to protect their spots on the hitlists. Cloudnine is a gigantic, sprawling city known for its theme parks, beaches and ridiculous apartment prices.

Coconut City
Just a few miles down the coast from Cloudnine City is Coconut City, a surfer's paradise and Coz/Effect's first stop on their first ever world tour. While performing at Coconut City's world famous Coconut City Stadium, J-Zel crashed their show with his monsterous Concertron robot.

Concertron
Concertron is Zero Records’ stadium-smashing, mechanical monstrosity - guaranteed to put its own phony pop stars in top billing. At over 20-stories tall, this gigantic robot resembles a mutated jukebox and uses massive razor discs to cut through anything in its path. |

Coz McSkwirl
Coz is the leader of Coz/Effect. Coz’s got a big dream – to be the biggest rock star on the planet! That is, if he can only get out from under the shadow of the evil pop-superstar, J-Zel, who stole his music and sent him packing. Athletic, acrobatic, a charmer and a bit narcissistic, Coz is very self-confident and determined to make things happen. |

Dish Hippo
Every aspiring rock star has an idol - Coz's is the legendary rock band, Dish Hippo. Thanks to his new connections at Boomboxer records, Coz and his band managed to open for Dish Hippo at Coconut City Stadium on the first stop of Coz's world tour. In a funny twist of fate, Coz became Dish Hippo's hero when he saved the group from Team Zero's clutches. |

J-Zel (or "J-Smell" as he's known by Coz) rules the music industry with his predictable lyrics and sappy music. He gets away with almost anything to crush the little guy just to stay at the top. He undermined Coz as he was near his big break by stealing his hit single and repackaging it as his own. Now, as the top-selling “artist” in Zero Records portfolio, he leads the label’s army of evil pop stars in a mission to stop fans from buying any music that’s not manufactured by Zero Records. |

Katsu
Don't let her cute looks fool you. Zee's best friend, Katsu, has traveled the world seeking adventure. Thanks to the experience she gained in her travels, she can kick serious butt. Katsu and Zee's strong personalities are the only things that can counter Coz, Blitz and Skyler's antics to keep them in line. Katsu serves as Coz/Effect's security manager. |

Knick Knat
After J-Zel stole Coz's hit song and sent him packing, Coz and Skyler were forced to get jobs as tourguides at the Cloudnine Children's Museum. Their annoying old boss, Knick, insisted that Coz tone down his "distracting" spikey hair by forming it into a conservative combover. Knick is enamored with J-Zel and forced Coz to be J-Zel's official tourguide at a charity event hosted at the museum. When Coz gave J-Zel a black eye in front of all his fans, Knick fired Coz, only to be left stammering when Coz was actually excited to lose his ridiculous job. |

Malcolm
Malcolm is the stereotypical, sleazy agent. As J-Zel's manager, he makes sure J-Zel is booked at all the best venues and that J-Zel is kept aware of Coz/Effect's tour schedule. Mal is incredibly arrogant and pushy, and is very proud of his career in the dark side of the music business. While he may appear to have a high-paying, glamorous job, Malcolm is typically reduced to doing J-Zel's bidding.

She's materialistic, shallow and only concerned about her career - even if it means stepping on J-Zel's head to get to the top.

Webster is Knick Knat's bratty nephew and heir to Knick's fortune. He enjoyed humiliating Coz and Skyler for some time which led to his ultimate demise. As Coz and Skyler were leaving the museum for the last time, he tripped Coz, who fell and squashed Webster. |

Zee
When it comes to showbiz, Zee’s been around the block. She's been everything – an agent, a trash-TV talk show host, and even a sports reporter. She is business-driven workaholic, but somehow finds time to manage the band while getting caught in the middle of a love triangle between Coz and Blitz. She’s determined to help Coz/Effect reach the top of the charts and displace Zero Records once and for all!

Zero Records (Team Zero)
Team Zero is the industry’s most successful evil record label. It produces (manufactures) pop stars as if they were truly products. Team Zero built its empire by stealing music from up-and-coming musicians and repackaging it for their “artists.” Zero Records is determined to keep audiences listening to their own brand of music - as their motto goes: “You’ll Hear Nothing Else!”
From it's massive high-tech tower that overlooks Cloudnine City, Zero Records plots new, ridiculous ways to bring down real artists and steal their music. |
